Who/What is Wretched Treasure.
God’s Word is pretty clear that we ought to do all things - even the menial things - to bring God glory. (1 Cor 10:31) He gives us different desires, abilities, and opportunities and we can certainly use them to point people to Him.
The name, Wretched Treasure, comes out of one of my favourite lines in a worship song; Christ willingly laid down His life to make me, a wretched sinner, His treasure. We are recipients of God’s grace.
Christ’s life was and atonement for sin, for those who recognize their need for Him due to sin and its penalty (Romans 3:23, 6:23), who call Him Jesus and Lord (Romans 10:9-13), and respond by laying down their lives (Luke 9:23-24), turning from sin (1 John 1:8-9), following Him (John 8:12). What grace and mercy is shown to us through this offer to restore our relationship with the Lord.
Wretched Treasure is really a product of that; We just want people to understand Jesus alone saves, and we live as believer’s for His glory.

because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
